Kalala Rosé has a pink rose hue with aromas of strawberry, raspberry, lemon zest and honey suckle. On the palate, it has a light sweetness, with bright acidity & flavours of watermelon candy, and lemon. Perfect as a patio sipper, paired with: pizza, lighter meats, shellfish, roasted veggies, and cheese.
These certified-organic grapes were grown in the Kalala Westbank vineyard as well as our Hwy 97 vineyard in Oliver, in the Golden Mile area. The vines were subject to more intensive berry thinning to enhance quality.
Kalala Rosé 2018 pairs well with light foods with food. Think seafood like salmon, shellfish and tuna; or a light salad. In your glass, it displays a beautiful pale pink colour, decent fruity nose, and on your palate, you’ll notice strawberry, watermelon, and candy. This rosé is a blend of 65 per cent Gewurztraminer, 20 per cent, Zweigelt, 10 per cent Pinot Noir and 5 per cent Merlot.
