Aromas of nectarine, apricot, honey-crisp apple, and pear. Flavours of apricot, nectarine, pineapple, and lime. Pleasant acidity, almost to the level of a tart fruit juice like lemonade. Strong Indian and Asian spices are a perfect match.
Riesling came from two vineyards, Mariposa and Chandra. Chandra is an organic vineyard located in Fairview area of Oliver, and vines are 20 years old. South-eastern exposure makes it ideal to grow excellent fruit.
A small batch production. The grapes were sorted / spot picked in the vineyard during harvest on
October 5th. The free run has been separated from the press and fermented for 10 days at an average temperature of 16.5°C.
