A West Kelowna winery is on top of the world. Kalala Organic Estate Winery’s Chardonnay was named best in the world at the Chardonnay du Monde competition in France. Kalala has placed in the Top 10 twice before (2010 and 2014), but this year marks its biggest win yet. Of 782 wines from 39 countries, Kalala’s 2013 Chardonnay Icewine received the highest number of points in the prestigious competition.
